We are very fortunate to have Ajahn Anando, a monk in the Thai Forest Tradition and co-abbot of Temple Forest Monastery, teach a day long-retreat for Open Door. Monastics in the Thai Forest Tradition teach in a spontaneous, inspired manner that conveys the essential liberation teachings of the Buddha in a way that is fresh and easily accessible. Ajahn Anando spent time training in Thailand and at Amaravati Buddhist monastery in England under his preceptor, Ajahn Sumedho. For the past 10 years, he has helped guide the development of Temple Forest Monastery in New Hampshire.
