Dāna, the Pali word for generosity, is a foundation for the development of wisdom and compassion.
Generosity, like meditation, is a practice. It's different from the usual exchange of paying for a service or offering a tip. When developed and reflected on, generosity brightens the mind and opens the heart. And it can manifest as an expression of the value of our meditation practice in our lives.
Offering support to Open Door Meditation Community or any of our local or visiting teachers in-person or online,
enables us to continue practicing and sharing mindfulness practices and the teachings of the Dhamma.
If you'd like to write a check: please make payable to either: Alexis Santos, Susa Talan or Lourdes Marie Prophete (for Phoenix). Then drop us a note through our CONTACT page to ask for the best address to send it to. Thank you.
For PayPal or credit card donations: you can use the button below to make a one-time or recurring donation (currently via Alexis' PayPal site). Should we apply for non-profit status, these donations will be tax deductible in the future. Thank you!
