OFFERING SUPPORT

Dāna, (pronounced “DAH-nuh”), the Pali word for generosity, is a foundation for the development of wisdom and compassion.

Generosity, like meditation, is a practice. It's different from the usual exchange of paying for a service or offering a tip. When developed and reflected on, generosity brightens the mind and opens the heart. And it can manifest as an expression of the value of our meditation practice in our lives.

Our Open Door Meditation Community runs on the generosity of others. As such, all events are offered free of charge.

Offering dana to Open Door or our teachers, in-person or online, enables us to continue practicing and sharing mindfulness practices and the teachings of the Dharma. And we continue to invite sponsors and benefactors to help support and grow this thriving community.
