Ajahn Anando is a monk in the Thai Forest Tradition and co-abbot of Temple Forest Monastery in New Hampshire. He spent time training in Thailand and at Amaravati Buddhist monastery in England under his preceptor, Ajahn Sumedho. For the past 12 years, he has helped guide the development of Temple Forest Monastery.
Monastics in the Thai Forest Tradition teach in a spontaneous, inspired manner and convey the essential liberation teachings of the Buddha in a way that is fresh and easily accessible. The retreat will likely include a mixture of sitting and walking meditation, dharma talks, and Q&A. We will share a potluck meal for lunch at 11:30, offered to the monastics and community in a traditional manne
