Matthew Clark is a writer and carpenter and amateur t-shirt maker living in Bath, Maine. His debut nonfiction book, Bjarki, Not Bjarki: On Floorboards, Love and Irreconcilable Differences (University of Iowa Press), was published in January.  Down East Magazine described it as "lyrical, philosophical, and touching," and Lewis Hyde called it "the kind of book we need right now."
